POSH CLEAN GHANA

Choosing a cleaning company in Ghana: what to look for

Choosing a cleaning company in Ghana is mostly a question of whether the company can actually do what it says. Anyone can quote for a job. Fewer can staff it properly, turn up on the date agreed, and still be around a year later when you need them again.

Here is what Posh Clean Services brings to that, so you can weigh it against anyone else you are considering.

Scale, and what it is for

We operate across all sixteen regions of Ghana with over 194 cleaning staff. That matters for two specific reasons.

The first is capacity. A single deep clean of an apartment and a full post-construction handover of an office block are not the same job, and a company sized for the first cannot deliver the second on a deadline. We can put a crew of the size the job actually needs on site.

The second is reach. If you run sites in more than one region, one supplier with one standard and one invoice is considerably less work than managing a different contractor in each city.

The services

Pest control and cleaning can be combined on one visit, which is usually cheaper and always less disruptive than booking them separately.

Staff

Every cleaner is background-checked, trained and insured before they go on site. We can provide documentation for procurement and tender processes, which institutional clients generally need and which a lot of smaller operators cannot produce.

Retention matters as much as vetting. Staff who stay learn your building, and a crew that changes every month never does. We invest fairly heavily in keeping people for that reason.

Products and disposal

We use non-toxic, biodegradable products throughout. This is a deliberate choice rather than a marketing one: they are safe around children, pets and food preparation areas, which is what makes them usable in schools, clinics and production facilities. Waste is sorted and disposed of rather than simply removed from view.

Availability and pricing

We run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including same-day and weekend work. Scheduling is built around your operation rather than ours, which for commercial clients usually means nights and weekends.

Residential cleaning starts from GHS 500 per visit and varies with the size of the property and how much work it needs. Commercial and contract work is quoted per site after a free assessment, because a fixed published rate for a building nobody has seen is a guess.

Common questions

Do you cover my area?

We work in all sixteen regions. Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast and Tamale are covered routinely. If you are somewhere smaller, ask anyway and we will tell you plainly whether we can reach you.

How long does a clean take?

From about two hours for a small residential job to a full day or more for a large property or a construction handover. We will tell you the expected duration in the quote.

Do I need to provide anything?

No. Crews bring their own equipment and materials. We need site access, and power and water where the job requires them.

Can I change or cancel a booking?

Yes, with at least 24 hours notice.

Are there hidden charges?

No. The written quote is itemised, and if the job turns out to be larger than assessed we come back to you before doing the extra work rather than after.
